ABOUT US

Seattle Tempest competes in the Western Ultimate League (WUL).

We play games March - June, and our home venue is Seattle Memorial Stadium, under the Space Needle. As we work to build an outstanding ultimate program, we carry with us a set of core values: integrity, community, and athletic excellence.

Seattle Tempest was born out of a goal to create a unique identity for the Cascades women's team, to give the new team a platform to thrive in the Western Ultimate League (WUL), and to attract fans in the years to come.

The team shares some aspects with the Seattle Cascades such as the front office, secondary logo, and colors. The Tempest primary logo will also be cohesive with the Cascades logo, as to encapsulate the intent to run the two teams with common goals and mutual benefit. Meanwhile, Tempest will be its own entity in other aspects, such as its players, league, and voice, and will strive to create an inclusive and welcoming new platform within the Seattle ultimate community.

We look forward to seeing you on the field, cheering with you in the stands, and building an excellent organization that will contribute to the growth of ultimate.
